list missing components?
i often get into this situation where it complains that case is missing even though i've reattached all of the case components, i'm not sure if it's a bug or i'm actually missing something. went through my inventory and tried putting everything onto the pc but i can't find it.

is there a way to list out what actually are the missing original components for the pc? or maybe a way to 'restart' the customer's pc set?

p/s under the 'pc parts' i've already used up all of the items that had a yellow notepad indicating the owner

Maybe a PCI lock is still open on the back of the case. I miss those sometimes. Those and PCI covers.

PCI lock and PSU cover. I always miss those.

For me it's almost always the PCI Lock being left open by accident. Some cases that part doesn't detach and only henges open and closed.

Oh there is also wires too, look around some can be heard to spot.

Click on install and then click on pc parts.

Well yeah that too. But it doesn’t always have the sticky note indicating whose pc is it from. And when you work on multiple pcs at the same time it might get confusing

Generally anything that isn't PCI covers that you get from installing GPUs goes on whatever computer you're working on. As long as you have the "fits this PC" checkbox ticked.

This. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I was close to enrage, I rebuild the damn PC 3 times and still "missing case parts". But ye, after reading this I found this stupid henge.

I dunno but... I think that's a unecessary feature, same like all the parts you have to pull out and back in or open/close to install storage devices. It's just annoying af.

By the way: The cases in-game that have a hinged PCI lock for video cards also has that design in real life for that case. That's why it's in-game.

I KNEW what it was. The CPU cooling unit. But, I could not install it.

That is, until I realized the CPU lock lever was in the open position! Thermal paste later and insert CPU cooling. All good!
If it were real life, that lever sticks out like a sore thumb. graphically, though, it is not noticeable if you don't think to look.

Motherboards do not ship to us with that lever in the up position. The only way to get that lever in the up position is for you to lift it yourself. I would of thought in my mind if you lifted that lever that you would remember to put it back down again ...............

Not when I first started playing. I might have clicked on it by accident when trying to remove the old cpu. But, that was several motherboards ago. Now, it is old hat.
