Custom loops are useless at this point
I love the addition of custom loops into the game but at this point, aside from the visual side of things, they provide no benefit. There must be something wrong with how the game calculate the cooling capacity of a custom loop. I say this because custom loops, no matter how many radiors you have, cannot outperform a closed loop CPU Water cooler and regular air cooling for the rest of the computer. I overclock everything and my GPU's get better numbers on AIR! Same for the CPU. Closed loops provide great cooling. Custom loops cause constant throttling and overheating. My latest build had two radiators (a 3 fan and a 2 fan) and I still couln't come close to the numbers I had with closed loop cooler and air. I think the game calculates cooling capacity based on CFM of the fans and nothing else. Not coolant pressure or flow or the efficieny of the loop but just the maximum CFM which is annoying. Also, there needs to be an option to rotate the radiators (i.e plugs on top or bottom) when mouting radiators vertically. I hope the Developers work on this in the future and possibly add fan controller and pump controllers to the game. This is the only complaint I have for an otherwise awesome game.

Edit: Definitely need fan controller because I can't have water cooled GPU and air cooling on CPU because the reservoir/pump uses the CPU fan plug. Please fix.

I made a post on this last week in the Bugs subforum.

Same I agree.

Why is this not fixed yet?

In Free Build mode, i am wanting to use AIO cooled CPU and dual GPU water cooled with custom loop. I cannot connect the power to the AIO and the reservoir and radiator. Tried even unplugging the radiator, plugging the AIO first, then not able to plug in the reservoir.

Is there a certain case that allows this? Is there certain combos of parts that do allow this? Or the Devs, in their minds, just did not think of this? All they would have to do is daisy chain the power from all reservoirs to the the radiators or allow both AIO and custom loops to exist in the same case.

I looked at the roadmap, didn't see any mention of this.
