OK I purchased the Custom water cooling shop in the tools and software area, I see it in my inventory now and it looks like I have some of the parts and I am looking in the shop for where to purchase the parts so I can install this but I don't see anything in the shop under CPU cooling?

Where do I purchase the parts for the AIO CPU water cooling system?

All I see is Pipes, connectors and coolant, were do i purchase the > Radiators, Reserviors and CPU blocks? I am confussed and at a stand still...

Custom water cooling and AIO cooling are completely different things and have nothing to do with each other.

OK so i am confussed, help me understand the update if you don't mind.

We have the Liquid cooling which was in the game prior to this update, I understand this. They are pre-assembled units and you purchase them in te shop in the area called Liquid Coolers and refered to as Liquid coolers when a customer places an order and is located for purchase in area shop CPU coolers.

Now we have an update and it is being refered to as AIO water coolers, Not Liquid Coolers.
I purchased the Water coolent shop in the shop and it is added to my inventory, similar to the custome color cables, they have their own area in your inventory.

So I enter into my inventory and at the top I see a new area called water cooler shop, I click on that and all the parts needed to assemble a custom water cooling system is listed there but on the Pipes, connectors and coolant which are the last three items in the list.

The Radiators, Reserviors and CPU blocks which are needed to assemble this custom cooling system is empty and when I click on any of these areas for the Radiators, Reserviors and CPU blocks there is a text message on a blank screen stating I need to visit the shop on my PC and purchase the other parts listed. When i go to the shop and look through all the areas even the CPU coolers area none of these parts are listed or for sale.

So back to my original question, where do you purchase the Radiators, Reserviors and CPU blocks?

Further more to address your reply you stated that "Custom water cooling and AIO cooling are completely different things and have nothing to do with each other."

I would agree with that some what and so knowing that in the shop and your inventory when you purchase a Liquid Cooler it is labled Liquid cooler and when you get an order to upgrade , repair or build a new machine it clearly states they want Liquid Cooling, which would be the original liquid cooling systems purchased in the shop. I am clear on that.

The new cooling system is refered to as Custom Water Cooling not Liquid cooling and the new orders I just received stated they wanted AIO water cooling system not Liquid cooling. So knowing that we just received an update for this new water cooling system and I am now getting orders to build a machine with AIO water cooling one could only assume that it means they want the new Custome water cooling system not the older game content which is refered to as Liquid Cooler, doee this make sense to you.

So I am at a stand still with two new orders requesting that they want AIO water coolers, I go into my inventory and have purchased the Custom water Cooling shop for the $1000 I believe and when in the shop the only items available are the Pipes, connectors and coolant. I have watched videos just yesterday of people building a machine in the game and they used the other part > Radiators, Reserviors and CPU blocks which are needed to assemble this custom cooling system, I can't find these other parts and the custom shop in instructing me to visit the shop and purchase them and they are not there or available for purchase. Also the videos were labled Update New AIO Water Cooling System, they built the system and showed you how but didn't explain where to get the other parts that are not available to me personally (I am level 25) and I can see they have a verity of the parts i can't find, so I know they obviouly exist.

Where do i get Radiators, Reserviors and CPU blocks?
Is the new system actually called AIO Water Cooling system or is this just a mislabling of what is happening here.

Liquid Coolers = orignal Liquid Cooling System, Correct?
New Custom water Cooling System = AIO Custom Water Cooling System, Correct?

Your post is highly confusing and I've read it twice... I'll try here and see if I can help you understand better. If the customer wants AIO cooling then install an all-in-one kit, also called CLC kit, from the normal inventory section and -NOT- custom water cooling.

That part I wouldn't know because I restarted career mode after this new update and it would take a long time to get up to that point again.

That may possibly be one reason you are seeing inconsistant or missing things after buying the water thing is you must of resumed an old save from before the update and possibly only people starting new after the new update would see it correctly. This is how PCBS has worked in the past with other updates.

So you telling me that they update the game, I have 200+ hours of play to get to the good parts, maxed out my level , stocked my cabinets with parts and I have to start all over again? Oh my God what a fail game, I have never played a game on steam where updates required you to restart, this is insane...If this is true I will be changing my Review for sure.

I don't know any developers that makes an update and then expects you to start all over again.

So you've never played an early access game before? If you don't want to restart, then don't invest so much play time in a game that's in EA status. It should be common sense in everyone's brain. It's currently still in beta, technically. Everything changes. I would say 95% of the people in the forums that report missing features, bugs, crashes, etc right after a new update, is almost always caused by resuming an old saves from before the updates. This shouldn't even be surprising to you. Every time they make sweeping major changes to the game it's of course going to change how everything works.

Or maybe you actually don't understand what "Early Access" even means.

Maybe a stupid question, but did you install new software? Custom Water Cooling Shop is new "show app" you have to install to your computer after purchase.

From what I:steamsad: see , after installing a new copy of the game . there are no Radiators, Reserviors and CPU blocks that show up in the store in career Mode , this needs to be fixed , I would think all of you will see a update to fix this problem soon ! :steamsad:

I have played early access game, actually most of the game I purchased and played are early access. Just never seen anyone of these game make you start over due to an update. Played Ark Survival sense day one, they have been updating that for years and not once did I have to restart my game due to an update, just saying.

Yes if you had read my posting you would of clearly seen I stated that I did.

Thanks some one that is experiencing the same thing I am. To bad the developers just didn't confirm this over the last few days it would of saved myself and other a bunch of time. i did come to the conclusion it was a bug and I posted it again in the bug area. I also noticed while in the shop you are purchsing items and whhen you click on s different part the window is white and doesn't show the parts. You have to exit the PC a few times and come back into the shop to get what you need to appear.

On the News page for this update (link below) scroll down to Patch Notes. By each addition, there is a number in parentheses that represents what level in career mode it will be available.
https://steamcommunity.com/games/621060/announcements/detail/1687053096175872888

If you want immediate access to everything, though, it's all available in Free Build.

That's probably why I found videos on Youtube, they never stated they were in free build so I could only assume they had access to all the parts. Thanks BigDave :)

And ARK Devs updated their game in a way where each of their changes did not fundamentally change how the game's mechanics worked. Where as in PCBS, they are completely changing the game and how everything works with every major update. It's like people in the past that started a save from back when we could mix and match ram, and completed a job and kept playing. Then later they changed PCBS where we can't mix and match ram anymore, and then later they got the same customer bringing the computer back for another repair for a different issue in some sort of job where they weren't allowed to replace ram, and then they couldn't complete it because the ram wasn't allowed to be mixed up anymore and their career was broken and they had to start over to fix it. Changes like that to PCBS. You don't -HAVE- to restart, but, if you keep playing an old save then you do have to remember in your mind that any bugs, crashes, issues, or anything "not working as it should" in the future runs the possibility of it being from your old save, and may not actually be a bug at all. You'll never know if your game is working correctly or not.

And as to the actual post in this thread, it's already been answered for you. They have not added custom water cooling to career mode yet. So it's not in store because it's not added to the game yet. And any customers asking for water cooling in career mode want normal CLC/AIO's, and not custom water cooling.

Yes, I read that. But you were talking just shops and not mentioning Custom Water Cooling Shop which is separate thing.
