The game gives you a great first concept about what to put where, but of course in reality you need to screw and cable connect everything yourself and those sockets don't light up orange. So you may have to read a bit in the mobo's manual, but honestly the most difficult thing you face while building a PC is setting a jumper and even that is old school. Today it's easier than ever to assemble your parts.
Stay grounded while building the PC. Most people don't care, but really just touch the radiator or something.
Also: Assembling the parts is far from the same as "building a PC". The guy who builds the system needs to know a thing or two about how he can mess up. So if you also configure a PC for the first time, I'd post the configuration on discussion boards etc.

It's best to refer to many YouTube channels out there before you actually start building your own PC, like GamersNexus, HardwareUnboxed, OZTalksHW, Tech YES City, and such.
