Crossfire Setup

Hoi!
Ich irgendwie bekomme ich kein Crossfire setup hin. SLI ist kein Problem.
Vom Prinzip her dürfte sich das doch nicht unterscheiden oder?
Mach ich da einfach was grundlegend falsch?

You need correct motherboards to support SLI/crossfire. Some motherboards support SLI but not crossfire, or vice versa.

Yes I know but this does not work.
For example:
Gaming 3 board support sli and cross
2x rx 480 4gb x cards

Just tested on my end with AB350 Gaming 3 and the game does allow me to put in two RX 480 Gaming X 4G. Does your game give you any message/explanation on why it doesn't let you do crossfire, or screenshot(s)?

FYI: you can uncheck "Fits this PC" when in the hardware selection menu, and it will list all components but the ones marked "incompatible" will explain the reason when you hover over your mouse.

The game allow me to put two rx480 on the mainboard. Will the cards not be connected through a bridge like SLI?

Nope. Crossfire doesn't need a bridge as like SLI, Crossfire is bridged via PCIe.

Ich hab genau das gleiche problem. Es ist so zum Kotzen. Glaub kann nur noch nen Bug sein.
Crossfire Board, Corssfire Graka. Speicher alles durchprobiert. größtes Netzteil drin was möglich ist. Immer Bluescreen

Inzwischen bin ich klüger :D
Es gibt zwar Crossfire Karten mit so nem Verbindungsdingsbums/Bridge, muss aber nicht sein. AMD hat Crossfire wohl auch dazu ausgelegt, diese über das Mainboard zu koppeln. Nur weil wie bei SLI, keine Bridge zu sehen ist, heißt das nicht, das die nicht da ist. Lass mal ne Benchmark durchlaufen. Da stehen dann zwei GPUs.
