I have two CPU's some how, no matter which I install it wont let me complete this mission because I still have one CPU in my inventory. This is strange bug, ive never seen this before.

Oh that is freaky. I wonder if the only option would be to start over? Maybe not so horrible at only Level 2. But definitely a painful bug.

For Anyone who is looking for an answer through these posts, Check your fans.

Same thing has happened to me the front two fans have been removed for no reason at all.
And if not the fans, check in your inventory for a sticky note labeling the dudes/chicks name.

??? The fans have nothing at all to do with a game bug (That should be fixed by now in today's version of the game, this original post was back when the game was in early access, before public release even, many bugs were fixed since then). This original post was about a customer's computer duplicating it's processors when worked on. This entire thread has nothing what so ever to do with fans.

Actually I have the fans bug. There are four Corsair 140 fans but only two slots on the cooler master case.

The symptoms are the same (even it's an other bug fom EA era) so there's no reason to rant at the people here because they found the thread with search functions (for example in this forum or Google). And in all three posts of you you even didn't contribute something to the topic or helping them.


The "solution" actually is to keep several manual saves (for example before accepting jobs, before buying in the shop (if you forgot something in the shop) and before ending jobs (if you forgot a colored cable, didn't run benchmark or whatever). If a job is broken then reload the save and don't accept the (later) broken job. The duplicated items are a bug which came with the newest game version and we hope for a fix. The devs communicate rarely...

yeah it was the fans, this game is and will stay bugged. 2+ year old thread still the same bug lol
