Curious about this. I have been playing the game with the lights off the whole time

When I paid the bill, the game said something like this: “Remember to turn off your lights!!!!”..That’s why I made this question.
If you played the game with the lights off the whole time, how much your bill was?

I did not turn on the lights at all, even during the day. I wandered around in the dark building all my systems like a mole man. My bill for the month was $240

I turn the lights off very time I finish the day. My bills is around $120 per month

So I believe it does

I'm sure it depends too on how long your computers (workstation and all customers) stay powered on. Switching them off if not really needed should decrease the bills amount.

I tried to see a difference in two game, my second my bill was around 90$~ so it does work!
I have no idea if having a computer open during the day (the main worksation) does affect the bills or any computers whatsoever.

Just keep your main workstation on to save time it does not really cost you much

But do turn off the other PCs so it does not cost you more

so how about upgrading the main computer? i like to have the most baller build for myself and for PR reasons... less power consumption = better?

Does having the main PC to use less power make the bill cheaper as this is like always on all day until turn off at night?
My power bills in game are usually $350 <-> $400 per month. I leave multiple customer PC's on between days sometimes, I leave my main work station on all the time lights all the time.. I've never once had any situation where I can't pay the power bill when it comes. I usually have $4000 <-> $7000 at all times during career. Money is trivial in this game, why care about the power bill?

I tried turning off the lights and working in the dark early on for awhile like for a month or two (game wise) and noticed a drop of like <$100 I believe. Haven't really worried about it anymore though since money isn't an issue. Definitely gonna start turning the lights off after the day though from now on, if it helps, then I'm all for it. Not working in the dark though o.o I'll splurge on the bill for that, lol.

Yes it helps even turning the computers off and even right down to changing the psu to a lower one also effect the bill

But it’s also annoying so now I don’t bother but at the start of a brand new game it’s worth doing
