Suggestion for Career Mode

One suggestion I have for career mode is if there is an option to purchase older computers or broken machines. Then you would be able to pull the broken parts repair it and sell it back, or you could part it out and use functioning parts in other machines instead of having to purchase new parts. Just with this method you could build budget pcs to make money or maybe find hidden gems among the used computers. Maybe you buy a computer that is completely stock but has a good graphics card or something similar.

That would be pretty cool too! I´d like to see something like this in the final game or maybe in the Early Access release!

I just think it would be cool to say be repairing a computer and perhaps u see the cpu is bad, you remember having one in one of the parts computers you bought that maybe junk except it had a functional cpu. Would also help if you were tight on money you could part together a working pc to sell and get some extra money

Yeah that's what I do IRL, I've a few sticks of DDR2, DDR3L, a possible working i5, 2 or 3 Heatsinks, an High-End 775 mb OEM with in its box my faithful Core 2 Duo

This is a great idea. My favorite part of Car Mechanic simulator is buying junk cars and restoring them, so this would be pretty fun.

I agree I think maybe even having an auction website, flea market, or classified type way to buy them would be fun. Some would have very general descriptions, and you would be gambling on what you bought

I believe there will be and having spare parts laying around would be handy sometimes not always having to neccesarily buy new

I believe they should add a way to mine bitcoin overtime and sell it for money otherwise there is no point in upgrading your personal pc and your idea about old PCs is awesome they need to be able to fix the broken parts or it’s a waste of parts and lack of idea. Your idea reminds me of when you can buy old rusty cars from barns in car mechanic sim.
