Can't upgrade the cpu for this job.

The motherboard on this computer can't be changed to another one and it comes with a Intel Pentium g4620 which is I believe the best kabylake I have available. The motherboard only holds kabylake so I'm curious if this job is just bugged. https://i.imgur.com/4ieLjBN.png

I am concerned about the same thing for another job. The guy has the best CPU available and he asks for an upgrade in the CPU

I'm at the exact same mission and i'm encoutering that to.. Maybe we have to unluck it with leveling? I still need a 7700 cpu for a mission but still can't buy it so maybe it's the same issue?

I was also asked to upgrade an old lady's CPU to an i7-7700k. But since that CPU is a Kaby Lake, and her motherboard (which I can't change) only is compatible with Sky Lake tech and earlier, I can't complete that job...

I was kinda interested in where the story was going though. It seemed like her grandson kept telling her to order the tech that she doesn't need for her PC (Like 32 gb ram, and the i7-7700k). He was probably going to scam her, by taking her computer later for himself or something. xD

I am with the same problem, the lady asked for a i7-7700k or better, yet the Motherboard doesn't support it or anything better than it, when I tried to change the Motherboard it said I had to use it since that part was "locked" to this computer.

Got the same but i changes to a lower cpu and oddly it worked, hade same issue with graphic card that one i had to cancel.

i had a mission yesterday where a guy wants me to upgrade his PC to the recamended specs to run sailing simlator but the case won't fit an intel CPU only AMD
