Thanks guys
Case: SilverStone PS14 (Black + Window) ($40)
Motherboard: Mortoni Z170 Mtech ($100)
CPU: Intel Core i3-6100 ($105)
CPU Fan: Mortoni Thermal 100 ($10)
RAM: Mortoni Value Supreme 2 GB 2133 MHz ($20)
HDD: Mortoni EZStore 120GB ($20)
PSU: Shean Powerking 250 ($20)
GPU: Shean GeForce GTX 970 GAMER ($265)
Total: $580
3DMark Score: 3001
Then later I did indeed get a follow up email from the Prince himself, requesting me to upgrade the computer that I built for him to Recommended Specs for League. Here are the parts I replaced:
CPU: Intel Core i7-6700 ($240) (i3-7600 was not unlocked for me yet)
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING X+ 6G ($350)
RAM: add 1 more stick of Mortoni Value Supreme 2 GB 2133 MHz ($20)
Which brings the total cost of the entire endeavor to $1,190.
All to make a total profit of $2,810, which is not bad indeed. =)
Hope this helps whoever that's coming after me!
(And if you're brave/curious enough, maybe make the first build already specced enough to play LoL at Recommended, and tell us what happens to the quest chain!)
