Fix a PC 'Inferior Part'
if the quest and order is to fix the pc why does the exact same part get considered as the 'inferior' its not 'upgrade and fix' I"m not putting this as a bug report because idk if this is a bug or if it was intended or just overlooked? I'm fairly certain this didnt happen before, because I had put smaller parts in, this seems to have changed (example: replaced a 500gb HDD with a 120gb HDD I had switched out in an earlier job.) and am wondering if it caused the 'diagnose and fix', jobs to have this same mechanic where a exact same part is now registering as inferior?

Can confirm. I've gotten this too, replacing an r5 1600 with an r5 1600. Same bug.

The change is a freaking scrappy mechanic. Cannot wrap my head around using a Skylake CPU in a Kaby Lake mobo, its a violation of common sense and violation of reality.
Just a suggestion but, if you want to actually submit a bug report, it would help if you actually used the bug report forums. https://steamcommunity.com/app/621060/discussions/1/

I'd like if this was a list of what needs to be changed. aka:

Inferior Part:
(Intel i7-7700 or better)
(1050 Ti SLI x2 or better)
(R9 290 Crossfire x2 or better)
(Mortoni EZStore 320GB or better)
(ARCTIC Freezer 33 eSports ONE or better)

etc..
Sometimes I get so lost on what I accidentally downgraded, that I yank a few parts off to get it below the previous value, and then cancel the job.

The big way to avoid "Inferior Part" is just remember on a repair job, you absolutely must replace the customer's parts with 1:1 -EXACTLY- the same part. And I don't mean replace a random DFL Z170 motherboard with a Gigabyte one, I mean replace a DFL Z170 board with an exact DFL Z170 board. Then (most of the time) you'll (probably) never see this message. 9/10 times it's with people trying to "Upgrade" the customer and that's not allowed with how the game is written currently. Used to we could, but not anymore, not today.

Aww man really? I used to love giving random jobs massive upgrades to the most expensive parts I could get. Did that 3 or 4 times actually.

The problem I was having was the exact same part was coming up with the inferior message so for example the DFL Z170 Broken replaced with the DFL Z170 was coming up as 'inferior' and was forcing me to upgrade it to something considered better.
