Under the Music tab in the music player (it's on the workstation or you can install from USB) you can navigate the directories on your (real) computer, go to where your music is saved and just start playing it.

Why would you want to do that? The music already in the game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome!

I saw There is a Shuffle button. But when i saw that you could pick Internet radio sources, that is as far as i went. I picked an EDM channel and left it there.

They do let you pick your own music, it was in one of the updates. Supposedly it supports mp3's. I wouldn't know, I've been using winamp in the background before launching the game since it first came to steam and completely disable in-game music and I could care less. But no one else seems to think my solution is worth using and seems to (for some reason) think I'm crazy.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

You can import your own music. However note that the music has to be in MP3 or FLAC format. M4A/MP4-AAC isn't supported.

Is there a way to get the in game soundtracks? I like one of them but I cannot find them on google or YouTube.

Hopefully in the not too distant future...
@Furry_Freak, You might be unfamiliar with it, but some people listen to... "sophisticated" music

And some people don't revive a discussion from over 2 years ago. For this VERY important contribution.

2 way to achieve this is to go to your Media Player (i know i am old and still use Windows Media Player) find your playlist and sync them to a USB, or you can go to your Media Player (or other app that you use to play music) highlight all songs in your playlist and right click, open file location and it highlights ALL songs in your music folder included in that playlist and move/copy them to a separate folder in which you will navigate to withing the game's PC music player
