Also: I was quite a bit of a jerk back then and I've tried to change and be more polite and helpful today. I'll go ahead and delete that comment if you could please edit out your quote. I agree with you: That comment above was rather unnecessary.
Also make sure your power supply is powerful enough.Otherwise it will blue screen as well if I recall.
Sure, but it might be useful still to other people who are googling answers to the same problem 2 and a half years later, like me.

After three decades of console gaming I finally got interested (or rather, had the money) to build my own PC. PC Bulding Simulator was one of the first games I played once I built it because the process was so interesting to me. I was stuck on something in the game and googled it (don't remember exactly what) and this thread came up. I felt stupid not knowing the answer and felt kind of... "gatekept" after reading the posts here I guess?
I did see the original date of OPs post, but I figured since the thread comes up fairly high on Google's results (and thus was likely to be seen again), I thought it was fair game to post...
