(The Phenom2 aren't listed for Battle for Azeroth but I'm in Beta and it runs on my Phenom2 X4 965).
Storage 6 GB could match to Vanilla / Classic, the CPU should be changed then to a Pentium 4 / Athlon XP instead of the i5, VRAM to 64 MB and the GPU to a Geforce 4 Ti.
(But the PCBS plays nearly today so the correct requirements are on the Blizzard page above).
@Pontiac:
You can use the comparision tool which you can buy in the tools shop. remember, even with a faster GPU you have to look at the VRAM.
The recommended specs for games and titles in-game in the "Will It Run" -DOES NOT- match the real life "Actual minimum specs" for any title in the list what so ever. This is a simulator, not 1:1 real world data.
It don't need 1:1 real world cata (but it uses real world hardware...) but combining system requirements from 2003 and 2016 is totally insane and out of logic.
1 GB RAM? That was my last Win98 SE machine (Athlon XP 3200+).
Then tell me a gaming PC which has 1 GB RAM and runs a R9 290 (oops, it doesn't fit into an AGP slot).
Edit: Because the game is in "alpha" state (EA -> pre beta) some requirements could be placeholders.
If you want fun (easter egg?): Look at Deer Hunter in the "will it run" ;-)
Bottom line is it doesn't matter what anything is in real life or how far off this game's "system requirements" are from real life, -NONE- of that matters or is of any concern to anyone but you. This is a GAME, and in this GAME, we just match fake computers to what the fake system requirements say to complete fake objectives. I guess you don't seem to understand that some how.
Yes it's +3 ranks above where the card currently is now, this is not really new knowledge, it's just not spread around on the forums a lot.
