I used this build recommended by your tool for the 2nd giovanna@giosci.lab build and got a blue screen. Twice. Once on my first play-through, and again on my 2nd play-through.

CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 Quad Core 1400
GPU : MSI Radeon R9 380 GAMING 2G
GPU Quantity : 2
MB : GIGABYTE GA-AB350-Gaming 3
RAM Freq : 2133
RAM Sticks : 1
Score : 4858
Price : 710
RAM : Mortoni Value Supreme 2 GB

To remedy this, I had to use the EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 GAMING graphics card instead of the 2 recommended by your tool.

Then, I used this build recommended by your tool for the 2nd oli@azurearrows.com build and got the blue screen again.

CPU : AMD Ryzen 3 Quad Core 1200
GPU : MSI Radeon R9 380 GAMING 2G
GPU Quantity : 2
MB : GIGABYTE GA-AB350-Gaming 3
RAM Freq : 2133
RAM Sticks : 1
Score : 4614
Price : 670
RAM : Mortoni Value Supreme 2 GB

And again, to remedy this, I had to use the EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 GAMING graphics card instead of the 2 recommended by your tool.

Something is not right with your tool if I keep getting blue screens instead of the required 3DMark score.
Add fans my guy. It's not the tool's fault. You're using too small of a case without enough fans.

You're a funny one, I hope you know that. It is no fault of the tool for your failure to either install a proper power supply or adequate cooling (more fans) to support a dual gpu configuration. The tool tells you what parts to work together. It's up to you to figure out how to support it so it will work right.

I thought that might be the problem, and I fixed it after posting this.

And by the way, the tool does NOT tell you anything about cooling fans. So, you're funny too.

I mean I hate to break it to you but that has nothing to do with the tool. It's basic computer knowledge that air flow is important and dual gpus are hot.

The tool doesn't have to "Tell you about case fans". Anyone with an once of common sense about computers should know "Two powerful video cards is going to run hot, I should add as much fans and as much cooling as possible and a big power supply or this isn't going to work." The tool just tells you which configuration results in X score. The tool does exactly what it's supposed to do.

You shouldn't have to do this, it's not your fault. If people are too stupid to realize dual-gpu setups need better cooling then it's all on them.

how cant u hit 3dmark scores its either up ordown on the cpu one or two level or gpu one or two down ;) hahaha its simple haha the fact u programmed a whole thingy make my head hurt... or u coudl jsut stick to one kind of gpu then u wont need 1000s ;) just a suggestion then u just need to learn if its need at 1050 1060 1070 or 1080+ ;) that how u figure out the numbers quick and if the cpu is crap upgrade that or downgrade and upgrad eh the gpu that why i stick to nvidia and amd build cause there simple easy to remeber and build by 3d mark number really

The whole reason for this Tool is because some jobs have a price limit per job and it's not easy nor obvious to figure out which configuration results in which score for which price. This tool makes it much easier for us to figure it out. But if you had actually played the game, you would understand why we have the tool and what it's for.

Anyone with an ounce of common sense, PERIOD, should know how to spell 'ounce'. They should also know proper sentence structure well enough not to use run-on sentences. And, they should also know, and utilize, proper punctuation.

This is how that mess you typed should be written:

"Two powerful video cards 'are' going to run hot. I should add as 'many' fans as 'necessary to provide' as much cooling as possible, and a big power supply. 'If I don't', then this isn't going to work."

Anyone with an ounce of common sense about posting anything online should know to proofread everything they type BEFORE they post it.

You really shouldn't call people stupid. It always comes back to bite you.

Thanks for the useful hint.

.... blah blah...

Wow I have to hand it to you. I haven't found a legitimate grammar nazi in many years, and in all the posting I do online.

Seriously though: If the only thing you have to add here is assaulting others for how they form their words then perhaps steam isn't the place for you. Your post is totally off topic and you are not adding anything constructive to the current conversation. Technically that's a violation of steam forum global rules (intentional off topic postings that attempt to derail threads), but I don't think the admins will act on it even if I did report you.

This is the one and only response I'll give to this: I would suggest you try and stay on topic, and keep your responses to discussing this lovely tool here.

...blah blah...

When discussing this "lovely tool here", as you so eloquently put it, maybe you should regard the forum rules yourself and refrain from calling others "stupid" when they post something concerning this tool.

Just sayin'.

But I digress. It is a handy tool.

Updated to latest values.
Should be all good now.
If someone spots any errors, please write me here, thanks

"Motherboards that support both Kaby Lake and Skylake CPUs in real-life will now do so in the game."

If you can update your tool to allow this, it would be awesome.

Why when I add 4 sticks of RAM to an X370 Ryzen system does it give significantly more performance than using 2 sticks of the same RAM? That setup doesn't support quad-channel memory, so unless I'm wrong there shouldn't be much benefit to CPU performance beyond using 2 sticks.
