It is exactly that. You don't need to accept every job you get. Some of them, and you have noticed it, aren't worth it.

If you do it right you can earn a profit and usually get so precise you end up beating their target 3dmark score by only 5-20 points.
I actually never sell ANY pc parts because everything can be reused. It actually feels like cheating sometimes. A guy asks me to replace a broken gtx980ti or some other high end gpu and gives me like ~$600 bucks, but i just throw in an old gtx960 and make $600 bucks profit...
I believe that was the HP Computers business model for many years.
Haha, yeh, I have figured out you can reuse old parts. I've also figured out that when you swap a broken part you don't need to match it, as I fixed a broken 500gb hdd with someone elses used 120gb hdd. Next level scamming.
But thanks guys, I'll take a closer look at jobs and work at becoming more efficiant.
