Stuck on Diagnose
Reporting Bug for Task

ExcitingGraeme@ExcitedFoodHeating.io Diagnose and Fix

Turned on Power, No RAM found. Took out the RAM ordered a replacement, installed it and won't allow me to progress. I've installed Virus Scanner, 3D Mark, System Performance on the machine and completely disassembled and reassembled all parts.

Perhaps you have to use the compressed air can to blow out dust.

on my first diagnose job i was stuck on this as well, it even got so far that out of frustration i cancelled it completely
when i had the next job acting the same it got to me that cleaning out the dust is required as well to have it finish, the problem was that i left a tiny spot of dust which wasnt even visible but that way there was no way to tell what was wrong

please game devs, change this so at least on the right to show "clean out dust" as goal to complete so there is at least an indicator preventing frustration

Was the first thing I did for the job, always blow out dust even if it isn't in the task.

the problem with this is that when it is not listed in the to-do list you don't have an indicator telling you if you really got all spots of dust cleaned

Maybe you can just cancel the job. Problem Solved, that is what I did when I encounter some bug that are unavoidable.

Dust

Dust wasn't the problem for me. Guy broke his ram, replaced his one stick with two cheap sticks. He had the same amt of ram at the end of the day but the game didn't like it I guess.

In my case, I needed to scan for virus

I found the cause for me --- one of the 2 storage devices was faulty but the device was booting into the OS just fine.

FUN!

Soo i just found out a fix for this, its soo that you have to put in the exact same components that were dead. for an example if a T-force ram 2666mhz is dead then you have to get that same one to count as a fix, hope this helped.

sometimes you have to run the antivirus.

In my case, the water cooler just wasn't running, what you/everyone should do is be able to see exactly each part of the computer. You're welcome :)

I know this is an old thread but I was still looking from my answer here in the future.

I have the same Diagnose and Fix quest for twice. I was stuck. Tried replacing everything. I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. I had replaced the cpu cooler with an AIO water cooler. This did not flag the quest as complete. I put an air cooler on the cpu and once I connect the fan to power the quest went green.
