Cables sleeved and plain
Hello,

I have a question. What is the difference between sleeved and plain cables?
Also when i change the colour of the cables, only certain cables are the colour i want. Does it have something to do between the sleeved and the plain cables?

So far i enjoy this game very much! Thanks in advance!

Greets,

Evil

Sleeved, loose, ribbon, etc are purely aesthetic. The only thing that matters for a job is if the customer requests specific cables. In that case they will request either plastic or braided, and a color. Beyond that it’s up to you so use whatever you like. And if they don’t mention cables then use whatever you think looks good. And as pointed out above if you use a non-modular PSU then all your power cables will have the loose black plastic look but that’s fine even if the customer requested something different. Just use the custom cable where you actually can.

i think the difference is just aesthetics. sleeved cables are more flexible and looks less well-order to me.
Only certain cable are the color u want because you are using a non-modular or a semi-modular PSU and they have their own cables to use, only grey. If u buy a full-modular PSU every cable will be of the color you want.
