Incomplete case
I'm on day 12 and I just finished upgrading a PC to 1.5TB HDD and no matter what I do it always says Incomplete case. I can never get passed a fortnight in career mode in this b/c of constant bugs like this

You must of missed something somewhere. Did you remember to check that the computer has thermal paste under the heatsink? Even though you were only tasked to do the hard drive.. sometimes customer's computers need the thermal paste replaced even though that's not part of the job. Were there any secondary requirements in the job email that you didn't do? Read the email carefully. Did you look over the case to see if there's a broken fan somewhere not spinning? There's something wrong with the system somewhere and you didn't catch it.

One thing I always seem to miss is the PCI Lock - the bit that goes over the screws of the GPU. if it's not in the "Case Parts" section then it might still be on the case, but it's hinged.

I added thermal paste, the PCI lock is on, there was only 1 objective. The Email was from Blake Patterberg. I have tried multiple combinations of everything I could think of and the case is always incomplete

I didn’t have any problems with that particular line of jobs. Can you post a screenshot of the PC and your inventory with the PC parts?

Figured it out, somehow removed the dust vent near the PSU

I found the solution to that, my new problem is I I have a PC that needs to run Adobe Premier CC on minimum and even though I have the exact CPU it requires, when I run "Will it run" it insists that it is not there.

Personally I think they shouldn't allow us to turn on the system unless we install that secondary power supply bracket. I've always thought it weird how power supplies "hover" in that spot with no secondary bracket myself. Glad you sorted it out. :steamhappy:

That does sound more like a bug, but I also know that I’ve done a build for that before and completed it just fine. So that’s weird.

And the dust filter under the PSU has gotten me before as well. Easy to accidentally remove those sometimes and not even realize you did it.

I don't mean to necro this post, but thank you. This is exactly what happened. I didn't know it was still attached. I thought it looked like something was missing there, but I couldn't find it in my parts. Much appreciated. :winter2019happybulb:
