So about this Oli kid...

I did do some searching and it seems he comes up frequently in this forum, but I didn't see an answer to this...

The kid wants me to upgrade his measly 4 GB of ram to 32. Cool, I can do that. But he also asks for RGB. Now I'm assuming he wanted RGB ram... which I don't have available (Is it even in game? cool if it is!)

So my question is this... can I just put any old random RGB thing in his case to make him happy? He's a rather valued customer of mine, so I'd like to make sure I send him back what he wants :)

I don't know about the "random RGB" aspect of your question but RGB ram does totally exist in-game and there's even an app you can buy in the store to control what lighting effect it has/is/does.

Before this mission, I did already put a rvb graphic card into his computer. In this mission I changed the color of the led and got 5 star. Dont know if you need to... I wanted to change his CPU fan for a rvb one, bug could not.

you can add a RGB case fan btw. Anything as long as it's tagged RGB

I didn't seem to have anything tagged RGB, however I put ram in that was "White" lit and it worked. Got 5 stars. I saved before hand in case he was angry tho ;)

It’s just flavor text, installing RGB isn’t an actual requirement for this particular job. You could give him 4 Shean Titan XL 8GB 2133MHz and he’d be thrilled.

Other thing.. Once I missed to accept a contract of his since there were a ton of emails.. now I never get new pc builds from him.. did I ♥♥♥♥ up? I really want to build him the best PC ever.. I know it sounds stupid..

Yeah once you break the chain, no way to get it back.

Now honnestly, you should always delete old mails (completed jobs) always accept (or reject right away if you know it's a RNG job and you don't want to / can't complete it) jobs the same day you get the mail, and never let the list grow longer than needed.

You should always make a decent amount of manual saves, instead of counting on automatic saves.

That way you can revert to many different possibilities.
I have like 8-10 manual saves, I usually save manually every day before giving back the PC's to customers, so if I messed up something I can revert back.

And maybe keeps saves every 3-5 levels ? that way you don't start over from scratch ?

I tried buying him an RGB CPU fan because that was the cheapest RGB thing I can buy (I have no RGB ram unlocked either). It won't let me install the damn thing. When I take out his fan, it says that fan is "property of" and I can't put a different one in. I also don't have any RGB case fans, so I can't add an extra one of those. The only RGB stuff I have is cooling, cases, GPUs and motherboards, so nothing extra I could add without getting rid of something he owns. I guess I am getting less than five stars on this :(.

Okay, confirmed, even without RGB lighting I got five stars, so whomever said that above was right.
