Can we get Xeon? We got Threadripper, so lets give intel a dual socket CPU
Weve got Ryzens 32 core dual socket, so why not get intels Xeon Series of dual socket CPUs? like the Platinum 8180? it would be pretty cool to have a CPU like this in game, thanks for reading

The trouble with those processors (AMD Epyc, and Intel Xeon), is that they're very few cases that support those motherboards in EEB (Electronic Enterprise Board), and/or MEB (Midsize Enterprise Board) size. The Corsair 1000D, Raijintek Enyo, and Thermaltake View 71, are the only cases that support those motherboards. The ASUS ROG Dominus Extreme is a good example for a server motherboard. AMD Epyc, and Intel Xeon CPUs both support dual socket motherboards, using ECC (Error Correcting Code) LR (Load Reduced), or R (Redundant) DIMMs . The AMD Threadripper (all variants), by default supports ECC memory at 2933MHz.

xeons are server cpus and i highly doubt they will add server hard ware to this game

Xeon -> server and the counterpart is Epyc.

Threadripper is no server CPU, you don't get any normal boards for it, only with blingbling crap. The counterpart is more the i9.

Just to add, Threadripper is -NOT- dual socket, it is only single-socket. AMD Dual Socket Ryzen is EPYC, which is a completely different processor that runs on a different motherboard and different chipset from Ryzen or Threadripper. EPYC and ryzen not even socket compatible at all.

Threadripper = HEDT
EPYC = Server

Xeons and EPYC are -NOT- coming to PCBS, ever. This game will never have server parts at all of any type. This game also will never have any dual socket motherboards.

TR4 is AMD X399 / Single socket Threadripper. They already have the Intel equivalent in game. It's Intel's X299 / LGA-2066. Single socket Intel I7 and I9 chips. The dual-socket Intel Xeon series (Xeon Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) are LGA-3647. LGA-3647 is a completely different socket and has nothing at all to do with X299. It's not even pin compatible (3647 pins vs 2066 pins). LGA 3647 will -NOT- be in-game. The developers have already stated previously on discord that they will -NOT- be putting any form of server equipment in-game and they also will -NOT- be putting any Dual-Socket platforms in-game. So no EPYC and no Xeon Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum.

I think you are confused. There are actually multiple "Classes" of computers in the world: Desktop, HEDT, Workstation, and Servers. This game has Desktop computers and HEDT computers in it. This game does not (and never will) have Workstation nor Server parts in it.

Actually they will never add any additional hardware to this game ever again. This game is officially abandoned now as stated by the developers. No additional content will ever be added to the game. No additional hardware will ever be added to the game. This means no Xeons. No Workstation hardware. No server hardware.
