Make a MANUAL SAVE prior trying what follows (hit ESC and create a new save)
Then if ALL your objectives are green, just don't care about that, you probably have either multiple M.2 or case fans you can't install back.
So just place the PC in the hallway, and collect as usual.
I have seen that tip from bug section, and I tried it lately with a multiple M.2 duplication, so I had them in my inventory, I got 5 stars for completing both main and secondary objectives, got paied as normal, and last, all the tagged M.2 leftover were taken out of inventory.
You can never collect from table.
But wait... the CPU cooler and the old GPU are TAGGED with the customer's name ???
If yes, indeed that'e a bug, and I think I missunderstood your issue.
As usually the most common bug is a duplication bug when it says you have to install back parts to customer.
Could you post a screen of the inventory where you usually have case parts (but that also show tagged customer parts) with the "fit the PC" ticked ON ? That may help the devs.
Because if it's then a new bug, you need to provide way more info than original post.
Screens of :
- mail job, so we can read all the job's task and secondary requests
- assembled PC with the greened tasks
- newly upgraded PC stats
- Inventory with the parts you can't place back that are customer tagged
- And also again maybe the mail page with the fact you can't deliver
EDIT : if it's only the GPU that is customer tagged, you have a workaround though, you can dual GPU and have one watercooled and one regular one, as long as it's the same type of GPU (like 2x 1070, or 2x 1080 Ti, etc), but again tis may apply only in certain conditions like the customer did not ask for a watercooled GPU UPGRADE, meaning you have to install a better higher watercooled GPU.
I was not pleased when devs decided to leave early access, because they had so many bugs left from their last update just before going full release, and it was probably the most bugged version I had played in early access... and now that they are full release, they don't seem to rush bug fixing, applying same strategy as when in EA, aka, fixing bugs with updates... and since updates are less frequent...
Anyway, that's why I keep many manual saves made prior to ghive back PC's to customers, and once all that is done and went smoothly I create a new save BEFORE accepting new jobs, and I rotate saves.
That way if a job is bugged, I can revert to older save, reject bugged job, and move along.
