About the rest I agree, I know that berserkers are "crazy" for battle but the mechanics of game is about preserving units so it is almost impossible to have those crazies for something else than short lived "investment".
And again those Anglo-Saxons not having any infantry from the start is mechanics problem, perhaps starting with shield infantry instead of slingers could help plus some scout cavalry could be removed from Viking roster and given to Anglo-Saxons but that would mean to overhaul whole meta I guess but after while it would be an improvement.
I would really suggest to Devs again and again lowering efectiveness of archery in global for those were support units in RL, even Mongol archers army could not finish wounded enemy without heavy melee units. At least after second armor purchase there should be no more of wiping whole squads with few arrow volleys. Perhaps more range would help but much less dmg, archers rather should have more impact on morale of squads with best armor than on real health.
Also those siege units should be against more deadly buildings not much against units, it was not today artillery and buildings are too weak so that would be for that purpose as is should be. Towers perhaps could have balistas too against those catapults while not being a MG nest against regular infantry.
Totally agree with Pete with archery in overall.
Question about what nation is best for multiplayer judged by the strenght of units is proof that youre not expirienced much.
