Does this game have skirmish mode vs. the computer A.I.?

I have heard that the campaign is pretty short, which is really unfortunate if it's true.

I don't play much multiplayer online, but I would love to play skirmish maps vs. the A.I.

Does this game let us set up skirmish games against the computer A.I., please?

The game features 8 campaigns 5 missions each. Is it short for you?

Also, yes - it has AI options for multiplaier.

40 missions? One more reason to get the game

40 total missions is good, but 5 mission campaigns is very short and disappointing. I would MUCH rather have five campaigns of eight missions each, or two 20 mission campaigns. Short campaigns just don't give you enough time to get invested in the story and follow your troops as they level up.

Thank goodness it has skirmish vs. the A.I.

I found another thread that said the campaigns had ten missions each, in four campaigns:

Slavs 10 missions
Germans 10
Vikings 10
Anglo Saxons 10

Is this not true?

In fact it will be :

Slavs 2x5 missions
Germans 2x5
Vikings 2x5
Anglo Saxons 2x5

But, among these 8 campaings, 2 will be released in a patch after the launch.

Ok, thank you for that information. I really wish they were 10 mission campaigns for each faction, per my reasoning above. Five missions just isn't enough time to get into it.

To answer your question yes there is skirmish againts the A.I. :) The campaign takes around 40 hours to finish so I dont really think its short. We will also be releasing two additional campaigns as a part of a free update after the launch :)

And, I, like frobodine, enjoy solo campaign. So 40 hours soounds well !
