Performance Issues- Low FPS after Bullet Making
Hi,

First off, I want to say this game is AMAZING. No one has made a game like arms manufacturing I really like it so far. A lot of hard work has gone into making this game ready for early access and i really appreciate it.

My only problem so far is performance issues. I am playing on a 2017 MacBook Pro thats been set up with windows bootcamp. I have an Intel i7-6567U CPU at 3.30 ghz. 16 GB RAM. Intel Iris Graphics 550. At the start of the game, when I just have the clothing lines set up, I have a good frame rate and the game runs well. However, as more lines are set up and they become more complex the performance really begins to lag. Are there any plans to help optimize this or make this more compatible or am just really out luck?

On another note, I've been able to play games that are above my system specs before like Railway Empire and Planet Coaster without a really bad FPS issue. At this stage of development, this might not have been optomized and I understand that. But I'm wondering if there are any plans for the future?

It already has quite a level of optimization, but there is always room for more. Can you head to our Discord and DM me? I would like to get your save file so I can have an accurate test case.

There are a lot of factors that go into it, from Collision, graphics to the crafting code, which all are linked with how much you have in the warehouse.

Thank you :)

I just had it almost completely unplayable, result was fabric feeders are feeding the cutters with far too much material and it backs ups, was all over the floor on any line i have three dispensers working.

setup a emegency shut down line, so that you can stop all production, then hoover the entire factory floor as you go it gets better once its all cleaned up fps returns...

may be the same case, who knows

Yeap this fixes the problem. Somehow all machines go nuts and produce too much articles. After shutting down and cleaning everything works fine.

I had 120+ fps during clothing manufacture and dropped to 60-70 fps after bullet manufacture on i7-8700k, 1080, 32GB ram. it's still playable but i can imagine people with lower specs struggle

I've got a dual 1080SLI with a I7-6700 @ 4ghz, 32GB @ 3200mhz and running the game from an SSD and after bullet production, seen my framerate dropping to 15FPS which is very low. My recent save game is running at 35fps and I'm afraid to build anymore. I can run almost every other game at 60FPS with no problems.

Check your earlier lines, they probably have over production because of some sort of bug. Just shutdown all dispencers and clean left over items with hovering. Then restart dispencers and problem solved. At least for now, it seems that they might go nuts again in some point, but at least know what to look for... :)

Yea, i started to play with 15 FPS, dont ask me what computer I have, cause idc
But i could play with 15 FPS, after building bullets and their components i dropped to 8 FPS and dis is now very laggy and slowly, so slowly even the production stacks and drops to ground. xD
I hope they are trying sth against that. I like this game very much and would like to play it further.

Our first patch will come soon, it should hopefully deal with quite a lot of issues you guys are having. The FPS should be better.
