NPC's won't do what they're supposed to?
In the mission - Summoners not Included - when the scientist turns up with the gun the kids wouldn't leave the basement, they just kept wondering around looking scared. After a few minutes of them just wandering back and forth I decided I had to try to scare the scientist away anyway and I ended up scaring one of the kids away and failing the mission. I had to start again and the next time they left straight when the scientist turned up and I scared the scientist away easy.

I'm now on the mission - The Unusual Suspects - and officer Norman Franz refuses to go into the evidence room. I've scared away officer Andrew Haid and Norman has gone into the door way and done a sneaky look left and right, but then he just walks off again. It's irritating because I don't know if it's bugging out or if I've done something wrong.

I usually have trouble getting the cop into the evidence room as well, but I use Terroreyes on the money pile, and let him throw fascinate as often as he can. At some point Franz will walk in there, and when he does, he takes money. Then I take off Terroreyes and let Blue Murder lure him to her.

The evidence room thing is mostly due to there being a guard in the first room which you have to first scare away. The dirty cop wont take the money if theres any witnesses.

As for summoners not included, Ive yet never had the students stay in the basement after professor shows up.. Sure, they quickly wander back after they have first vacated the basement, but they have always left the basement at first. Sounds like some sort of bug if they stay. Maybe some haunter power messes them up? Try not to do anything until the professor is alone in the basement. This mission is sort of special anyway, where you are not supposed to scare anyone except the professor.

ps. Ultimately the NPC behaviour can be random and infuriating at times. Wait til you try to unlock Brigit...
