Resolution problem, unable to change resolution.
I checked the data files, changed the min and max resolutions, neither worked. The game loads, gets me to the main menue, I can click options and was unable to click apply options because 3/4 of the game is off of my screen. I have no idea how to fix it. Also tried launch options in -window, did nothing...

Open your game folder, then GhostData, then open SpDrv.cfg in Notepad. Change all of the MinW/MaxW and MinH/MaxH values to the corresponding width and height of your native resolution. May want to back that file up first.

I tried this, multiple times... Still not working, I gave up on it.

I guess you could try using 12noon's Display Changer: http://12noon.com/?page_id=80

Hey what's more appropriate than necro'ing an 8-year old post in a discussion forum for a ghost game? :D I am running Ghost Master on a Steam Deck, and I eventually got it to work at 1080x1920, but wanted to mention that, like the other folks above, I was also unable to change the resolution by editing the SpDrv.cfg file. No matter what changes I made to the MinW/MaxW settings, I could never get the slider to offer me anything higher than 1600x1200. The behavior I'm seeing is that Ghost Master seems to be looking at my Save Game data for the video settings and not really caring what the SpDrv.cfg file says.

This is what worked for me, on a Steam Deck, docked and using an external monitor.

1) I launched into Desktop Mode (that's where I play most of my stuff anyway since my Deck is usually Docked).

2) I already have ProtonTricks installed. This might be part of the solution when I get down to step 4 below. If you need to install ProtonTricks, it's easy enough as it is available in your Steam Deck's Discover menu. Just launch Discover, search for "Protontricks", and install it right there through the interface.

2) I changed all of the MinW and MaxW values in SpDrv.cfg to ZERO. I gotta be honest, I don't even know if this is part of the solution, but I'm putting it here anyway. Ghost Master didn't seem to care what I changed in that .cfg file.

3) I downloaded the application linked in this post:
https://steamcommunity.com/app/6200/discussions/0/613940109953381734/

The linked application is called OptEditor.exe. For posterity, the mediafire reported details are:
File size: 1.18MB
Uploaded: 2022-07-28 09:26:57

4) I placed OptEditor.exe in the install folder. On my deck, this location is:
/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Ghost Master/

5) I ran OptEditor.exe - if you're on a Steam Deck, too, double-clicking it will bring up a prompt where you select Execute. Next, because you have ProtonTricks installed, you should get a ProtonTricks window: "Choose WINE prefix to run OptEditor.exe". Scoll through the list and locate Ghost Master. OptEditor should launch with a blank window, but when you do File>Open, it should default to the savegame location for Ghost Master.

6) Open the savegame file (there was only one in my folder) and edit the values for resolution, I changed mine to 1080x1920. Make sure you click off of the field you're editing to make sure the new value has been set. Save the file when you're done editing.

That should be it... Launch the game, and hopefully it should launch in your desired resolution!
