Go to Steam library, then right click on Ghost Master, then properties, then local files, then browse local files, then right click on GhostData, open it, right click the exe.,then go to properties, then compatibility and you see there you can change to 16 bit.
Use the Win XP Service Pack 2 mode.
Sometimes you must click twice again (right click) on the exe. before the needed window with compatibility mode opens!
PhysX Legacy is a tool (driver) which is helpfully for games that are released before 2008.
You can download and install it like any other driver. And don´t worry, the normal PhysX works simulate to it. Here´s the link for download:

Oh and btw: I only can say that it works with Win 8.1 and Nvidia cards. Don´t know how it is with other OS or AMD cards. And check out that you use the latest card drivers.
For me GM runs without any problems in 1920/1080p, hope I could help.
Sorry for you guys but I don´t have another idea.
Wish you luck to fix it another way.

Maybe this works?
That would only work if the game wasn't crashing as soon as I open it. :(
That´s more mysterious as the game itself.
