8 Players too many people?

Hey devs and fellow gamers, just writing this for prespective. I feel that 8 players may be too many people for the current size of the map. You can easily play games where you will need to repeatedly teleport in seconds, because you keep running into another player. While killing other players is fun, I feel 8 players maybe too many players and actually is taking away the point of the game, which is to collect the cubes. I know killing is apart of the game, however in these 8 player games, good luck trying to collect any cube, unless you get ahead from the start. I would suggest to the devs, maybe reducing the max player limit each game to 6 people. This should also help start more then 1 game at once with a low population. Thats 2 people each game that can go into another lobby to get another game going. This is just a suggestion from my prespective. Would like to hear thoughts on this from devs and players alike. If you disagree with this prespective, please elaborate on your view on why it should stay at 8 players.

Yeah, this woulld actually be a great idea, as in some matches, I see 4-6 people attaining Omega because of this, which shouldn't be happening.

8 is fine first game and i got the 1st on the score and got the last upgared and it was 8 player

While I don't think it's too many, it certainly adds more luck into the equation for winning. Devolving and running into an area where multiple people are roaming/fighting can cause you to have to devolve again. At the same time it's WAY easier to rack score up with combat events; you just have to be more aware and cautious when playing with more players.

A dev said they thought 6 people make the perfect match size and I tend to agree..it's not difficult to find players, but you're not constantly sandwiched between players and constantly in danger.
