New Patch: Courts wizards lightning attack
"Lightning attack from wizards in Courts now have slightly higher damage but it builds up over time giving you a chance to move away"

Doesn't sound promising. Please post here if any of ya'll have tested these attacks, and don't forget about the damn lightning traps that seem to do the same amount of silly damage.

I stopped playing because of this silliness.

EDIT: Tested it myself, it is in fact better. No more one shot.

No idea how they arrived at the conclusion that it needed MORE damage in any scenario. It already hit like a dumptruck.
My cousin and me were literally losing our minds because we wondered wtf is murdering us instantly and came to the conclusion that lightning damage for that stage is absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for some reason.

I'd really be interested why this was phrased so VERY vaguely in the patch. How much is "slightly" and what does the build up look like? Considering they do about 10 times the damage of anything else in the entire game "pre-patch", I'd be more interested in how much LESS they do, not how much MORE they do "when built up".

still didn't fix the lightning issue getting hit multiple times in a tick so whats the difference between alot of small numbers and alot of higher numbers in rapid amount in a single tick since no iframes when taking dmg.

its worded weird but i think the idea is the dmg starts low but then ramps up higher to the original value

The lightning wizards are the only thing that can consistently oneshot me on any class if they get too close to me, and each individual beam still hits like a ton of bricks.

Everything about the courts revolves around them. I don't care about anything else. None of the monsters in the last area are anywhere near a similar level of threat. So this lame attempt at a nerf is not very great. Just decrease their damage to be in line with other things.
I did a run today, I got hit a few times form the lightning mages (not sure if it was point blank) and I didn't die. They still hurt though.

I think the patch notes are missing a word "SIGNIFICANTLY increased the ramp time" or something like this.

yeah finished a run too and they do less damage in fact because it stacks more and more, just dont stay in it, there is no more one shot.

It is much better! No insta taps from multiple wizs targeting you. So basically you have 1 sec to move instead of 0.

It's alot easier now and you can fix tick damage bug by capping fps to 60

Oh, so that's why I've been surviving the area now. I thought I was getting good but it turns out they just made it easy.

The wizard should just change their spell entirely to be a channeled one that does damage over time that ramps up. That way even if they do hit you as long as you focus them first you'll be fine.
