Character dissapearing/vanishing mid run in multiplayer
Hi, im playing a warlock and my friend switches character often. We were doing a run and now its the 2nd time where my character simply vanishes for seamingly no reason. Not dead, not disconnected, just vanished, I can still interact with the menu and character inventory/info/map. I can't cast spells, use potions or dash either (and my health regen isn't working either). The only way to fix it is for me to abandon the run. Even trying to progess to the next stage is blocked since not all the party is there.

It also seems to be related to using my ritual on warlock. I activate it 60 times and its fine, but from what i saw, the 2 times I vanished, I had just used the ritual.

Fix it please, its a run killer

I am also having this issue.

Sometimes one of my friends will just vanish. If they leave and rejoin it will often cause me to vanish in their place.

Unlike being stuck in a wall or some other problem where we can just use the console to kill them, move on, and then revive this state is seemingly special. The command does nothing, and as the original post indicates, we cannot progress.

When this happens the only option is to abandon and it seems to happen every time we get to the zone with the lightning mages/towers.

When this happened during my run, the affected player alt+f4'd then restarted the game and reconnected without too much issue (still had his inventory and upgrades). It put him back down at the floor entrance. Not a good solution for the game, but that might help you for now if it happens in the future until it's fixed. His happened while playing the ranger, and when dashing? We think. It's hard to be sure exactly.

Yeah we did that. The last two times resulted in me, the host, being removed from the map forcing the abandon.

He was running warlock in our case. If I had to guess, whatever is happening has something to do with the reported multiplayer connectivity stuff. It is really hard say without a better understanding of the net code, so this is mostly just a vague guess.
