Level 55 possible?

I ran into someone who was level 55. Shoot, I've put in a lot of time since release... I'm level 23 with a couple low level other classes. We got a person level 55 in our group. I asked how, they said "with a group" and denied any exploiting. It just seems impossible to me unless you cheat or use some exploit. Was immediately sus.

Edit : ok i searched and found, won't say where people are grown enough to do it themselves but yes there are cheats for leveling very fast and more.
It all goes by console commands.

Yea, I knew they were full of crap lol. That's pretty lame. I mean, sure, for single player only I could see... but, having players who've cheated on their character to get ahead in your game sucks.

At least, if someone has used cheat console on a character, maybe put something to show that on their profile icon or something. So that people know they've used cheat commands. I'd say for the most part people want to play online and legitimately beat the game.

There is : in Hammerwatch 2 if you enable the cheats you have a "CHEATER" tag on your screen somewhere ^^

likely a cheater, but also reasonably possible for someone who has put in the hours and has a lot of HoH1 knowledge.

It's definitely possible, for me I've got all characters at level 20, Paladin at 21 and Sorc at 25 with NG+2 unlocked. If he's playing just the one character and making good use of XP buffs + HoH1 knowledge definitely doable.

Yea, I dunno, the time to get from 25-55 seems like way more than leveling all to 20. Day 3? I DUNNO

group play, +xp food, +xp gear, running the highest new game+ you have, should do the trick. My group has been runnin like that and all of us have atleast 2 characters that are 25+ some are in their high 30s. since its infinite progression why not just set character to 99999 instead of 55?

i mean you would be capped though he'd have to be NG+7 to be that level as its 5 levels per ng

and I donno how you'd have a level 55 character with 0 xp on other characters providing buffs for the difficulty so id call sus
