Single Player vs Multiplayer files

Is there a way to separate my files so that I can play on my solo character in a separate "world" that wouldn't affect my gold collection for when I play on a character I made just for multiplayer with a friend? I feel like trying to progress, even a new class character, is cheating as I can collect all this gold and just take it with me into their server and use it for upgrades.

I hope I am making sense here.

Yeah I see what you mean, it would be cool to be able to have different town saves that save your materials, gold, and other stuff separately.

Exactly. It's my only downfall at the moment.

The only way to do this currently would be to make a copy of your saves folder in the game install folder, and then put your single player copy or multiplayer copy into the directory as needed. Obviously this is not an ideal solution, and hopefully they add in game save profiles down the road.

Do you take titles and achievement bonus's over too? I've been thinking about getting some friends to play along too, but I don't want to get them to play then have my newly created character still be 10 times as powerful as them from all the bonus stats.

Maybe we could have a toggle option, when creating a character to set it to be an outsider, so they don't benefit from anything from your main file/characters. Then at some point if you wanted you could turn it off to bring them into the gang as a one time/way choice.

It was an amazing option present in HoH1. Perfect for having a Profile for Friend game, a solo one, one for trying out mods, etc.

You can switch your save slot with the given command.
