Warlock has a damage mitigation field around them which would... benefit a paly or warrior tanking for them as it so very well happens.
Casters using Ice based weapons as well as the traps born from archers would allow for crowd control and easier kiting with their snaring effects.
Its not like their is a bard class that can't do anything by itself that makes someone else really good but their are synergies if you look for them and they are quite useful.
That said, I think there are a few things that are in need of a balance patch, for one the Dark Ritual cannot damage stationary enemies like the Elemental Totem or Poisonous Plants (Which, also makes the first boss an absolute PITA)
I also notice that the enemy density is much higher when you have 2 or more players in your party, so it's give and take.
