Opening chest in this game is not that fun and i think this should be improved.

In my opinion there are currently two main things contriubuting to this:

#1Cluttered itempool
Currently the pool feels way more clutered than the pool of HoH1; a lot of situational stuff or things that just do not synergize with anything. Even on a good run id say i could tooss out 1/3-half of my trinkets and would not do any worse. I am not talking about defensive items here, i items that give + armor and resistances.
They should not be removed but there needs to be more synergy and some just could use a set bonus.
I think one of the problems is also that the +stat items are really good which makes it sting more if you don´t get them. Just add a few more with mixed stats and it will equalize with the less desirable items.

#2 Equippable items during the run
Getting an equipment during a run feels bad, at least if its in a chest.
What exactly are the odds you get an upgrade to the stuff you are currently wearing? Maybe 1 in 6? Odds will get much lower the higher you are up. So most fo the times the chest will do nothing for you.

Equippable items should just be given at the end of the run.
I don´´t want to read item details during the run anyway, i want to play the game.
