I'm trying to think of an action rpg that isn't precisely that.
I'm sick of going through the same areas over and over and over.
Welcome to a linear roguelike/roguelite game?
Yes, you forgot also the combo-sustain mechanic (i.e. everyone running around on his/her own like headless chickens to keep the kill-count steady) for the braindead. They improved the (co-op) gameplay by adding actual skill, thinking -doh-, synergies and a slower, more tactical approach in HW2, and by removing that combo crap, but the community just wanted Tha Spam so they butchered HW2 with stupid reviews forcing Crackshell doing another brainless yawn.
git gud
