I'm starting to get a bit bored. Help...
Hey guys,

I started the game with the Ranger ... that archer character. I have about 3 hours into the game. I have started to do runs and build my base. I did managed to get to that totem boss, almost killed him but since then, no luck. Generally I don't have a problem with a challenge, but somehow I am bored running the Forest. I know that in theory I could just go directly "down to the caves", but then I will miss upgrades.

So what are your tips? How can I get unbored? :)) I do want to explore the game some more because I am a bit intrigued by it.

The upgrades are pretty pointless since they only last for that run anyway. I'd speedrun through the forest to get to the cave, grab any chests on the way, and focus on advancing to unlock more stuff.

Try other characters; you get bonus stats for everyone by leveling each class.
You'll get stronger over time and start breezing through the forest so quickly that it hardly matters. Eventually, when you finish the town, using the level skip routes becomes more viable because you won't need meta-resources like stone and wood so much anymore.

I know it’s not a great option choice wise but paladin is EZ mode with the heals. Literally got up to the 5th area with him alone at the start with barely any meta upgrades which made farming resources much easier to overspill power into the other classes.

I too was sick of slow progress (started with Ranger), but now with all the upgrades he feels a lot better.

I started a Paladin to try things out.
What bonus stats do I get if I level otehr characters? Where can I see that?

Press G, look at the Titles tab. It'll tell you what every character is giving to each other.

Ahhh got it. I was wondering why my Paladin hits super hard. He gets 14 Attack Power from the Ranger which is level 7.

Had a great run with the Paladin. Managed to kill the Totem but also get into the Crypt.

I did created different characters and leveled them to level 3 just to get more bonuses.

Now that I killed that totem, isn't there a way to fast travel or smth?

you can bypass totem and caves through the horde of goblins

How do I get to them? There is wood around and I can't get to them.

ooohhghhhh.... and I just unlocked Warlock and basically just added another char I have to do this. Oh well...

if you wanna game let me know i can help. far easier with friends. you can revive each other. don't worry about getting carried i can use other lower levels. i will tell you you'll feel the same after beating final boss...i am getting bored of beating him each run lol honestly hardest boss imo is totem 😂🤣

Things got better. I only have to kill the Totem with the Rogue (dual dagger guy, forgot his name) & Warrior. They do a lot of damage but they are like glass canons :))

It gets much better later. I am from the front "not interested in that kind of game, bought it, still not interested" - it grew on me that I am thinking before sleep how to skill for the next run.

My advice: play multiplayer with other people you can talk with. That keeps you motivated best. A friend for that matter is great, a rival is best.
