Dual Daggers with rogue evasion

so one of the skills you can get while in runs is that you increase crit chances after evasions. how do evasions work? sorry im very new and just started playing rogue and i think i like him and want to main him

Evasion is your chance to evade damage, Rogues get a buff that gives 100% evasion until they evade once and then it recharges over a few seconds. You get the buff when you evade, either with the 100% from the skill or from the passive evasion given by the skill or any other source.

Dodging isnt evasion, neither is parry, block, lunging strike from dual daggers or anything else not named evasion.
