Carry over character from demo?

Does my progress from the demo carry over or is there a way to import my characters? I'm def going to get the game but didn't want to wast the time I spent in the demo if possible. Thank you!

The character will not be carried over. The demo version is a tad older than the actual game version. I can only assure you that it will not take long until you catch up with your progress with the whole game version, especially since you get so much more experience points in the end levels which are not part of the demo.

I kinda feared as much. I noticed that the screenshots looked more recent than the demo so they likely wouldn't be compatible anyway. Thank you for the reply!

i played hours of the demo, completed it 3 times, and thought "DAMN this game rules! i hope i can carry over though"
just bought the game and checked this after. :/
im not gonna refund it, but one of my biggest and most severe pet peeves is having to restart or repeat things in games, and starting entirely over again is a deal breaker for me. I'll probably just wait several months before i end up playing the full game now :/

ooh youve got more dissapointments ahead of you then cos this game is ALL about repeating the whole game again and again.

But the combat is very satisfying, for the most part.
And game not dark as f***. Only ARPG I could ever get into was Titan Quest cuz I could see wtf was going on.
