Trinkets need to scale
At NG+8 and a lot of trinkets just get in the way of scaling my dmg. I dont want +80 armor or +40 res when at NG+8 you get a debuff of -1200+ armor/res. I also don't want trinkets that have triggers on spending mana or auto cast after a few secs. The 30 dmg they deal is just lame and gets in the way again of getting actually useful trinkets. Take away the bad feelings of finding these things and let them grow along side NG+'s. If it means I have to pay more points to optimize them that's fine.

An armor trinket gives +20 armor, when you attune it, it goes to 40 and that's the best it will ever be.
At NG+1 you get -200 armor, and -400 at NG+2 and so on. All flat trinkets become more and more useless the farther you go into NG+, the only good trinkets in higher NG+ are % ones.
Well thats the point. Each NG+ is supposed to get much harder. If trinket effects went up the same amount each NG+ then the time to kill would be the exact same and there would be no significant difference.

Trinkets should remain relevant because if past NG+1 or 2 they are useless, why even have them in the game? Things like the elemental damage on hit trinkets are fun to get but then you start playing NG+5 and +10 dmg isn't doing much of anything anymore.
As mentioned earlier, ill just say ti again.

This game has little to nothing to offer after beating the game once, its clear the devs havent worked on anything passed the final boss. Theres no purple gear, theres no new events or POI's, theres no new bosses, no new classes, no new places.

Beat it once, you're done, unless you REALLY like it and hunt achievements.

Im gonna wait for more stuff before i keep going, as im already tired of the same runs over and over, nothing changes. Dont wanna burn out on it.

AGREED, there are a few trinkets that give +x per character level, i feel they all should, and all the procs and what not should scale off of either weapon/ attack power, or off of spell power, otherwise the low damage does nothing and as stated, a sad and worthless find , as well as the defensive ones become non viable after the first just because they dont scale at all
It's definitely a goody system that even in early NG makes you question why you care about certain things.
For example when I start a new class I don't even bother with the resists anymore until I have literally nothing else to spend on because in the first few I don't need them and beyond that they are useless.

NG+8? Not bad. I got a chievo for clearing +1 earlier and only 1.5% players done that so far. You must be the top 0.01% players out there having this issue. Not saying it isn't viable. ;)
