Co-op connection issues?
As the title says, is anyone else having connection issues right now in co-op? A friend and I are really struggling to get this game to work together. He is unable to join me whatsoever, and I can only join him. When I do join him, I just show up as a white blob as he describes it, and we end up with long load times in between levels, and the game usually de-syncs so bad by forest lvl 2 that we just lose connection to one another. Not to mention that we also have bad de-sync for the first couple of minutes into a scenario that we're killing enemies that neither of us can see on each other's side.

Anyone else having these issues? Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, launching as admin, putting it on an SSD, nothing seems to work.

+1 Same here. My wife and I can play fine (on the same network) but her brother can't connect anymore. It was working fine a couple days ago. No when he joins it says in chat he joined but a character bar doesn't show up on the top right and he's just white. He also can't interact with anything in the town. We can't seem to join him anymore either.

I added two connectivity improvement tips to my troubleshooting guide - though I am not sure if it helps in your case

normally the first thing to check is whether a network reset via Windows feature or using the usual commands via terminal

ipconfig /flushdns

ipconfig /registerdns

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

netsh winsock reset

Another possible cause for issues which look like that are related to game updates - that with every game update, depending on your internet security app, you need to give the game new permission to connect in multiplayer.

Or ~ could be just some Steam multiplayer server hiccup which is temporary. :spacehamster:

Game is fried when it comes to multiplayer

I'm having EXTREME lag in multiplayer with more than just my friend playing. 4 people means I'm having 10+ second desyncs, its almost impossible to play. Minor, but annoying lag when its just me and him. I know its not on my end - so it has to be the game.

That is a wrong approach to an otherwise interesting problem.
