Unable to cast spells / Huge delay
I have been experiencing this since I started playing.

I can move, I can do lots of stuff, but sometimes I just simply cannot cast a spell. I need to spam the button repetidly 5-6 times (and I just experienced moment where I simply couldnt cast any spells for 4-5 seconds leading to my death)

I don't know what is causing this, but casting spells feel very clunky... sometimes. Its not all the time, its not never.. its just randomly happening.

Anyone having this issue as well?

Are you using your auto-attack at the same time? That's the only time I've noticed it. I'm holding down auto-attack and then trying to cast - but if the auto-attack animation is going then the cast won't cancel the attack or go off at all.
auto attack, and enemies that silences you as well. But sometimes I feel like spells dont work, so maybe there is a bug
It happens when casting an ability while holding down the attack button. Most of the time I need to double tap an ability for it to go off. I'd say that this happens at least 50% of the time. Some games I've played solved this issue by giving action priority to abilities over basic attack.
Seems some spells it's possible to move before the cast finishes and then it doesn't happen.
If there is an icon over your character, it's silence.

I am aware of the silencing part (which was not the case in my situation). The very last time I had this issue, I let go of everything and spammed V / Q / E and nothing would go out for a good 4-5 seconds leading to my deaths.

I feel its "holding auto-attack" sometimes, but some other times it feels like spells literally don't work for a short period of time

I suspect there's some sort of blocking going on here where certain actions can't be taken at the same time as others, mixed with a few other minor things.

The result of this though is that the game feels very clunky and non-responsive. Its probably the biggest hindrance to the gameplay I can think of outside of game breaking bugs (that are getting patched faster than I can complain about them, keep it up guys!)

In the first game skills tended to not interrupt each other or prevent each other from casting.
This resulted in a few amusing situations in which you could use every ability all at once while auto attacking but it felt a heckuva lot better to play as a result.

I would like to see abilities working more like they do in the first game where you can just cast them as soon as you press the button so long as they are off cooldown. If there has to be some ability precedence (can't do X while casting Y) that's fine but I would very much enjoy for my abilities to trigger when I hit the button to trigger them. I have had many instances where I have dashed into a group of enemies to cast my ult and then dash out, only to find that it didn't trigger at all. That sucks.

I would also in the vein of improving control responsiveness, not mind an accessibility setting for the "hold to cast" spells where I can just tap the key once and then tap it again early to cancel or trigger before fully charged rather than actually having to hold it down. Though I suspect if abilities could be triggered simultaneously this would be less of an issue.
