Help with a warrior build
Howdy, I have a warlock, wizard, and sorc in NG+4. I currently have a tyrant warrior that I'm having trouble getting out of NG+3 with. Any advice with talents, skill points, weapons, armor etc would be awesome. That or the correct talents to pick during runs. Any help would be super helpful

Tyrant? Bow.

Used to be DEX Bow, now it's... STR Bow I guess?

Set Whirling Axes to 1, Chains to 1.

Physical damage bow, Vulnerability effect
Carnage (+physical damage) on every slot you can
Sunder Armor if possible
Movespeed
Any stat pieces will usually be Hale for Vitality
If you got excess points you can throw a couple in DEX.

Let me be clear, the Strength bow is significantly worse than the DEX bow used to be. There really isn't an alternative now.
Sorry, when I said Tyrant I meant my level 10 choice. Chains and Ruthlessness.

Yeah, it was the standard decision to go DEX on Warrior, and probably still is because DEX scales better than STR

Yeah apparently you can push beyond NG7 if you build a warrior like a rogue and use daggers. Awesome patch fixed everything LMAO.

You can push warrior far far higher than NG+7 playing dex.

Strength is bad, melee needs mobility or defense, Dual Daggers give mobility but they need dex which means you wont have enough strength, if you play a strength weapon you will need to survive things that could otherwise be avoided and while strength does give you armor you dont get enough armor to outscale the NG+ penalty and you will still be lacking resistance. In a scenario where you are getting enough armor to make you immune from physical damage you will die to elemental damage.

Dex also just gives you better damage, the dex gear give damage stats while strength gear gives armor, Dual Daggers deal more damage than Greataxes, dex gives crit and crit damage while strength gives AP.

My warrior is in NG+9
He's a Berserker that uses a two handed maul
I got to NG+8 before the recent update which nerfed all the armor/res penalties in NG games (i.e. I did it on the old hard mode)
To overcome the high armor and res penalties, I attuned to all the res trinkets ans leveled a Pala as high as possible.
Never really had an issue, Warrior dps always seemed fine wih maul. Around NG 7 or so the incoming damage started getting fruity, but by then my Warrior was usually running around with ~1500hp, and with the Warrior Berserker reduced damage skill orbs etc, it really wasn't too hard not to die.

TLDR; try Berserker two handed maul

Complete Str build with Carnage and Combat enchants on gear, none of this dex insanity

I got to NG+14 before the patch and right now I am on NG+17, I think you should just try Dual Daggers and Dex, I am playing berserker as well, I agree you get a lot of damage reduction, I just think the mobility and damage from dex is so so much better.
Thank you so much everyone! I beat NG+3 no problem with all the advice
