Build and gear recommendations?
Fairly new player here. I was wondering if there are any good places to find up to date info on builds.

In general how should I prioritize my resources for progression? I've unlocked NG +1 on warlock and Ranger and I feel like a wet noodle. Should I be spending resources on upgrading my gear or just grinding runs waiting for an upgrade to drop?

Heroes of Hammerwatch expects you to level up all classes fairly equally as each class gives its own bonus to all characters.
Try to get some accomplishments and build your town with the resources you find on the way.
Gear will come on its own, higher NG cycles drop higher quality gear. It doesn't hurt to take a look at the shop (once unlocked). After unlocking the enchanter's shop you can even customize your gear (you still need to find the appropriate recipes before that though).
After about 100 hours into the game I realized that I seriously underestimated main weapon damage. Look at what your primary attribute is with you character, it's either strength, dexterity, intelligence, etc. Then try to get the highest level main weapon possible that uses that attribute. You'll need to do a lot of runs. Prioritize using your attribute points to upgrade your primary, simply so that you can carry the high level weapon.

Try to use all classes, yes. But maybe get one or two classes as high as you can. Higher NG gets you higher equipment in the chests. Then give that high level equipment to your lower level characters. After enough runs, you don't need to balance out your attribute points that much because you'll have a whole set that requires just strength points or just dexterity points, for example.

vitality is also important for health regen, so is lightning resistance. get the enchanter to change your gear so that you have good resistance and high weapon damage.

use stars to upgrade trinkets (underrated) rather than a useless skill that does little damage. Most classes have ONE skill that you can ignore, which helps you save stars. Also use stars to upgrade your main weapon damage (top left of the town map) also use the blacksmith of course for upgrading main weapon damage and armor.

a few of these things might be locked behind town upgrades, it's been a while since I maxed my town, so I don't remember.
