Will there be trading?

Was playing with my friends. We accidentally discovered that you can link equipment to one another, but couldn't figure out if it was possible to trade equipment (the permanent items that persist between runs). Does anybody know if this is specifically planned / not planned to be a feature? Thank you!

Well, I'm not quite sure if it is in this game as I can't play it for some unknown reason, but in hammerwatch 2 you could just drop the equipment, but I'm not sure if it's true for the heroes of hammerwatch 2.

With equipment being a thing in HoH2, it'd be cool to be able to trade. Even cooler would be the ability to trade trinkets during a run, since we've often ran into situations where players would find trinkets that would benefit each other rather than ourselves. At the very least that would add to the co-op synergies.

sorry for offtop. but what's the difference between hammerwatch and heroes of hammerwatch? as well as 1 and 2.
