BLACK SCREEN??

Can someone tell me how to fix it.. i really want to play

try disabling your steam overlay and make sure to run it as admin. If you're on a laptop make sure it's running using your dedicated gpu and not crappy integrated one.

This is what worked for me.

I don't own the game but I hope this helps
right click on the game
go to properties
go to launch options
type -fullscreen
or -w (width) -h (Height) so if your resolution is 1366x768 for example then -w 1366 -h 768

This should force the game to run in your own resolution IF the black screen is an issue with the game scaling with it.

If the game only shows a black screen when you launch it (after the logos) then try disabling the Steam Overlay. Right click the game in Steam > Properties > General tab > Untick 'Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game'

Well Typically what fixes blackscreens for me is pressing alt+enter to change window mode and then setup the game's resolution stuff.

alt enter doesnt even work on this one for some reason
neither does the launch options

try to look in the main pinned topic of "black screen" a lot of people provided fixes there and seemed to work for others

tried them all so far sadly, still waiting for a reply on that thread

Im using an HP Envy m6 Notebook PC with Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600, ive tried :
alt+enter
-windowed
putting my resolution in the startup options
restarting steam+pc
checking/updating my drivers
uninstalling/reinstalling

the game runs perfectly fine for me i just cant see anything
