Step 2: plug in a controller (or a second controller if both p1 and p2 are using one
Step 3: press buttons on the second controller. Maybe start.
Remember: Fix the second player their own buttons so you don't play the same character.
Finally figured out that I had to press player 2 keyboard keys OTHER THAN WASD to wake second player. EXTREMELY annoying! There should be a simple menu button to press to go two player, this setup is so dumb. Hope the game is worth it.
I feel like there's some sort of language barrier here.
Try to press all the buttons. For me, the controller player came up but I had to press some assigned keyboard button OTHER THAN WASD, as I explained above. Maybe I'm missing something, but it's the dumbest thing I've seen. Game is okay once you get past it, though.
Clearly you're not actually reading what I wrote when you keep talking about two controllers when I'm talking about keyboard buttons. Of course the normal assumption is that you're using the keyboard.
Actually my normal assumption is that people use the controller for obviously controller built games.
The options menu has controller bindings for p2, so fiddle around in there. Other people who have had coop input issues have said something about the options menu. I kinda don't care for looking into it myself to get an accurate description of what it is they found.
