I just can't enjoy this game
Look, the games looks beautiful, it feels like Zelda games and the game can be kinda fun. But it has a lot of problems:

- Grinding: You need to grind for gold, crystals and exp. To collect gold and crystals you actually need to wait for the objects to stop bouncing, and you don't even have a "magnet" to make it easier. Most of the time I don't even bother to pick up coins or crystals because it's slow. You need exp to open up dungeons. It's not the best mechanic, but ok. Except that you need to level up one level everytime you respawn. You want to enter the first dungeon where you died last time? Sorry, you need to get 1 more level than before. But hey, to level up one lever is not that hard, right? Well, there is one problem...

- Time limit: It's too short. You don't have time to do side quest or even explore. And remember, you need to grind. So you lose time grinding, so you can have crystals, so you can rewind time, so you can grind again. It's not fun. You have this beautiful, RANDOM, world that you are supposed to explore everytime you respawn with a short time limit. And it's not like I can do the dungeons quickly, because I need to grind to level up to open the dungeons. It gets boring really quick. And talking about boring...

- The intro: I get it, the new sword doesn't know who they are before they pick up the sword, but do we really need to walk (and you can't even roll) all the way to the sword, read the same thing every time, like we are doing the tutorial from the beggining? And then Puku says the same things on the dungeons. If we know the same things as the last sword, we already know what to expect on the dungeons. It just doesn't make sense.

- Purple monsters: It's a bad mechanic. Sometimes I can find the other dungeons before I can get to the first one just because of this monsters blocking the way. Not only that, but I had a run where I had to rewind 4 days before even get to the first dungeon, and I had 2 days left by that point, and If I wanted to rewind again, it was 300 crystals, that I can't grind because I don't have time.

I want to love this game. I want to recommend this game to everybody I know. I want this to be a MUST BUY game. But not like this. It gets boring really quickly. This can be a great game. Please, think about all this and make some changes to make it less tedious.

Just don't grind in the overworld I guess because time doesn't pass in dungeons, towns and houses. There's heaps of dungeons around you can find and the dojo is pretty overpowered since it's such a giant dungeon essentially and you can get heaps of loot from it.

Unless you're like me and the game seemingly refuses to spawn side dungeons you can actually get to in the time limit. I've run across like, 1 side dungeon per run tops so far and they weren't any good to grind in. Just get rid of the grind!

I can't think of any reason why you should attack any overworld monsters ever unless for a side quest/event. I don't really get why they are even there as it is objectively better to roll past them looking for opportunities to progress without ticking time down.

I guess you pretty much summed most of the complaints I saw people have about this game. The funny thing is that most of these fall into Quality of Life stuff and not the overall structure of the game.

I feel the same way, I played about 6 hours, defeated Mormo once and just felt like I was doing busy work instead of having fun when I had to level from level 14 to 15 just in order to get in the first dungeon.

I'd add to that that I don't mind the time mechanics, but it just feels pointless the way there's not even a justification as to why you need to defeat Mormo in that timeframe. I mean, people like to compare this to Majora's Mask, but in that game the world will be destroyed and there are tons of time dependent events. In this it's just arbitrary stuff. I mean, Mormo has been slaving the world for a hundred years, so what difference does it make if I take my time? At least something should happen as a motivation.

Anyway, I'm in the same boat. I really wanted to like this game, and at times it can be really fun - the whole Mormo dungeon was quite nice - but I just got bored to soon.

I hope the dev keeps tweaking things, and I guess this would be really cool with steam workshop mods, but for now I'm done with it.
