I feel the same way, I played about 6 hours, defeated Mormo once and just felt like I was doing busy work instead of having fun when I had to level from level 14 to 15 just in order to get in the first dungeon.
I'd add to that that I don't mind the time mechanics, but it just feels pointless the way there's not even a justification as to why you need to defeat Mormo in that timeframe. I mean, people like to compare this to Majora's Mask, but in that game the world will be destroyed and there are tons of time dependent events. In this it's just arbitrary stuff. I mean, Mormo has been slaving the world for a hundred years, so what difference does it make if I take my time? At least something should happen as a motivation.
Anyway, I'm in the same boat. I really wanted to like this game, and at times it can be really fun - the whole Mormo dungeon was quite nice - but I just got bored to soon.
I hope the dev keeps tweaking things, and I guess this would be really cool with steam workshop mods, but for now I'm done with it.
