Thanks! I do believe that it's very important that the game itself is super polished before multiplayer is added, as the hardest part about VR multiplayer games is keeping the servers populated - multiplayer will make a lot of new people try out the game for the first time, and it's important that they then decide the game is good enough to stick around and keep playing in multiplayer, and not think "well, it's not fully there yet, will check back in a few months". If people already really like the game before multiplayer is even added, it's most likely that servers can stay populated in multiplayer.
One measurement for how much people like the game would be the reviews for example - currently the game is at 88% Positive reviews on Steam, which is quite fine I think, but ideally that would go up to around 90%-94% before multiplayer is added, that would be a very good indicator for people being happy with the state of the game and multiplayer making sense :)
Good luck, still wishing you the best. I would play CyubeVR if Oculus wouldn't hold my Oculus Rift hostage software wise. I would be playing VR games, just can't. *stares at Oculus*.
