How do i put s.th. in its hands? I tried gold ore, coal, tools, crystals and torches. Nothing would stick to its hands.

the hands are like the top of a table. You can place stuff like Sandbags, or other statues on the hands. You just have to reduce the size of the item, that goes on the hand as small as possible, so that it can fit on the hands. You can't place ores or blockitems on the hands.

The placement into the hand has to happen through the regular placement of decorative objects through the radial menu - so for example, select another statue on the radial menu, set it to a small size with the red slider, and point at the hands of the ancient statue then, then you can place it in there.

You cannot place items like gold ore or coal there, it's meant for decorative objects.

i think i can only upload videos from a "youTube" account and i don't have one.
thing is, i made a pot and tried to place it in the statue's hands. but its projection always goes down to the floor (indicating red).

the answer is, you have to have your hand directly at the hands of the statue, when placing the object. (had a conversation on discord with the developer).
